The Art of Ceremonial Singing:

An Introduction to Ikaros & Healing Chants

Friday April 11th

11 AM to 3 PM ET

Ever since we can remember - sound, rhythm and chants have been vehicles to channel healing, transmit energy and express the emotions of the heart.

In many ancient and living indigenous traditions, music serves as a bridge between the spirit world and the human realm.

With 30+ years of experience, immersion and training in music traditions and ceremonial singing from around the globe, François Demange takes us on a journey to discover how to embody the techniques of Healing Chants.

This 4-hour immersive course is an introduction to cultivate, understand and connect with the mechanism of chanting so that you have an embodied experience of this powerful form of healing, as well as understanding the origin of certain songs. He’ll share about Ikaros from traditional Amazonian plant medicine practices to the chants from the Bwiti traditions of Gabon and many more.
