Feedback and reviews from those who have experienced our offerings.

"Most practitioner courses related to psychedelics focus on acquiring facts and knowledge about psychedelics. Being & Becoming draws on decades of combined experience to convey a mode of attention and attunement which is central to psychedelic healing. I have taken many courses related to psychedelics, but none have expressed these ideas with the clarity, effectiveness, and respect of Being & Becoming. I would highly recommend this course to any practitioner considering incorporating psychedelics into their practice, or to anyone hoping to learn more about Indigenous wisdom traditions and plant medicine."

“Oh, how thirsty all of us are for a course like this!! How aching we are for this kind of deep nourishment — and in community no less!?
Francois and Kelly, in this online journey, are creating a space for that bridge of understanding that I have been praying for.
How do I take the magic of the medicine teachings into my life every day? Into every moment of every day?
In truth, I shouldn’t be writing a review for this course for another few months because the teachings are so deep that I am still digesting so much from it.
The transmissions are powerful. The content is dense. And yet the food for me was really being able to come to a place where we can digest it as a group - in the daytime! - in a playful, inviting way.
What I am receiving more and more, with the help of these teachers, is that despite my mind arguing otherwise on a daily (often even moment to moment) basis, I am not alone in this world. We are so resourced here on this earth.
But stepping out of the rigidity of individualism and the hold it has on our perception, can take time. And patience. What a joy it is to embark in this process of emerging — experiencing what it means to be human, what it means to belong to this earth — with this community Metsa and Kapomo have cultivated.”

“I highly recommend the Metsa Series, “Being and Becoming” course. This is, in every respect, an excellent course. I have to admit that as an academic, with previous knowledge of this subject area, and over 30 years experience teaching in a university setting, I had my doubts about how, and whether, this course could deliver on its goals. The bar I set for the course to even earn a “passing” grade was very high and, it more than passed, it received top marks!
The instructors, Kelly and François, are the “real deal”. This is important because there are more than enough people with superficial knowledge, little experience, and less authenticity attempting to share/sell teachings of this sort. Kelly and François possess a rare depth and breadth of experience and understanding that have been acquired over many years of learning and practice. They are able to weave together threads from different traditions in a uniquely integrative way to create a luminous tapestry that manages to make accessible the ineffable. Also, of importance is this was done without falling into the trap of cultural appropriation. The roots of this knowledge, the specific traditions from which it derives, were always honored and acknowledged. And it should be noted that François and Kelly have close ties to teachers within these indigenous and other traditions. What they share has not been appropriated, but given with permission.
The course was very well organized and skillfully executed, rich in content and experience, but much more fluid and creative than a “traditional” university class without sacrificing quality or quantity of information and connections. Students with little experience in any of the subject matter to professionals in related and complementary fields had plenty they could learn and take from this course.
The instructors often reminded participants, “we are all in this together” and masterfully created a space in which everyone, including the instructors, François and Kelly, were synergistically co-creating the experience and learning together. The space created was truly welcoming and accepting of all but, never-the-less challenged each participant in a way that supported and encouraged trust, openness and seriousness of purpose. This worked in the virtual space of Zoom in a surprisingly effective manner.
Finally, this course is well worth the cost. Not only is reciprocity put into practice by a percent of the course fees going to support the indigenous teachers of the instructors, but a quick calculation demonstrates value: 2 hours a class, for 7 weeks = 14 hours of class. That’s less than $40 per hour! There is virtually no professional service or course that gives such value for the dollar these days.
This course was of the highest quality, taught by two high caliber and dedicated professionals who shared their expertise not only with great skill, but with warmth, humor, authenticity and caring. I look forward to taking future courses with them!”

"For all that [our teachers], Kelly and Francois have imparted and modeled, towards each of us being and becoming, I owed you thanks weeks and weeks ago. This space you've created and invited us into has felt nourishing, and has become a compass for me to root into myself. It started with developing a sense of space and really struck a personal chord when we shared about a special place from childhood. That exercise shifted my perception of how I belong to a space, a land. And I took comfort knowing that this relationship has always been whether I remembered it or not. It felt like a homecoming and I'm just at the tip of deepening the relationship I have with my place of childhood, and the place I am temporarily making home now…
Gratitude is not enough of a word to express how much appreciation I have - I am deeply touched and humbled. Thank you for your gifts and wisdom, and inviting us to co-create in this journey of Being and Becoming. I feel tremendously resourced thanks to your facilitation of this offering."

“I participated in Being & Becoming and am incredibly grateful to Metsa and Kelly for their profound wisdom, genuine care, enchanting music, and boundless inspiration.

Through this transformative journey, I've joyfully learned about various ancient practices and mysteries, and began integrating some of them into my daily routines. The introduction of qi-gong and meditation, in particular, have already catalyzed a significant positive shift in my life.

Engaging with fellow participants in the break-out rooms throughout the course, I understood that some of our struggles are similar. The genuine sharing and collective space-making fostered a wholesome and authentic sense of community that feels enduring.

Metsa and Kelly's earnest dedication to cultivating non-separation and facilitating collective healing radiates generosity. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone seeking wisdom and belonging to experience the remarkable, wise, kind, and delightfully humorous presence of these two extraordinary individuals.”

“I signed up for the first course of Being and Becoming with Francois and Kelly.
On my first class I can say that I felt completely discombobulated and disconnected.
The growth and deepening of my connection to the world around me in the last seven weeks has been profound. I am in deep gratitude to this course.

The container that Francois and Kelly created and Held was a safe and powerful place for change and transformation. All the tools that we learned and remembered helped me to re-connect with my higher self and allow that presence in my daily life.

Francois and Kelly, thank you for your integrity, your powerful presence, and all the years of experience that you bring and share.

I recommend this course to anyone that is ready to transform their life, deepen their connection to the world around them, and learn sacred ways of Being and Becoming.

With deep gratitude,
Martina Bell”

We are seeing an explosion in the popularity and use of psychedelics, but Western culture lacks the roots of traditional knowledge of working with these medicines. Ayahuasca, psilocybin, peyote, and other plant medicines are part of long lineages of spiritual practice and healing.

A coaching session with Metsa will expose you to his 26 years of experience holding ceremonies and studying these traditions and allow you to:

  • Engage with his perspective on what to do before, during, and after the psychedelic experience.

  • Build an awareness of the space as alive reality within yourself and around you.

  • Train your ability to engage with life and rituals in a sacred way.

  • Understand and make sense of your experiences.
